Nanaimo Ladysmith Public Schools appreciates the services of all its volunteers. In order to ensure your safety and the safety of all our students, all volunteers must complete this registration form. Please print legibly and complete the entire form. The information on this form will be held in strict confidence. This volunteer registration form will be held for one year from date of completion. Those individuals involved with the following mentioned activities shall be required to provide a criminal record check and a vulnerable sector search prior to assuming any duties:
Overnight field trips, activities involving supervision where staff are not always directly
involved, sport teams in the capacity of head coach or trainer, driving students

Once you have completed the online application, the Ministry of Justice will forward a copy to our District office where it will be put into the school district database of volunteers. The school has access to view this database and will be able to confirm that your criminal record check has been approved and completed.

If there's something specific you'd like to help out with or volunteer for please reach out to us and let us know. We can always use more parent participation with hot lunches, planning fundraisers and the fun fair.
